We use a session cookie to keep you signed in after authentication and a CSRF token cookie to protect state-changing requests against cross-site forgery. Both are first-party, scoped to our domain, and cleared on sign-out.
- Preferences: These cookies remember choices you make so that the product is consistent across visits. We store your selected interface locale and your light/dark theme preference. Preference cookies contain no personally identifying information beyond the choice itself and persist until you change the setting or clear browser storage.
- Measurement: These cookies help us understand aggregate product usage so we can fix bugs and improve features. Measurement is first-party only and IP addresses are anonymized before storage. We do not build cross-site profiles, we do not fingerprint your device, and we never share measurement data with third-party advertising networks.
Your choices
You can control cookies in several ways. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or submitting forms safely; preferences and measurement cookies can be disabled without breaking core functionality.

- Browsing in private or incognito mode prevents cookies from persisting between sessions, so any state we keep will be cleared when you close the window.
- Signing out of TableSnap clears the session and CSRF cookies on our domain. Preference cookies remain until you actively reset them.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add a new measurement tool or change a cookie's lifetime. Material changes will be reflected in the 'Last updated' date above and, where appropriate, communicated by email or in-product notice.
