Allergen Disclosure Obligations

Accurate allergen information is critical to customer safety. TableSnap provides tools to tag menu items with allergen information.

Your restaurant is legally responsible for ensuring all allergen information is accurate and kept up to date. TableSnap supports allergen tagging in the menu editor, but you must verify accuracy before publishing. Customers rely on this information for their health and safety.

PCI-DSS Compliance

TableSnap does not handle, store, or transmit cardholder data. Subscription billing is processed by Polar Software Inc. ('Polar') as Merchant of Record. Polar is a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor and is solely responsible for card capture, tokenization, and storage. Card data never reaches TableSnap servers; we only receive non-sensitive metadata such as the last four digits, brand, and billing country to display in your billing history.

If TableSnap ever processes payments outside of Polar in the future, we will only do so through PCI-DSS-certified processors and will update this section accordingly.

Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA)

TableSnap is designed to be accessible to all users, including those using assistive technologies:

• Mobile-first design ensures menus are readable on all device sizes.
• Full keyboard navigation support for all menu and ordering features.
• Semantic HTML and ARIA labels for screen readers.

Tax and VAT

TableSnap complies with applicable tax and VAT regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate. TableSnap charges any tax due on your subscription and shows it on your invoices. You remain responsible for the tax treatment of the sales you make to your own customers, including any VAT, sales tax, or service charges shown on your menus and orders. Consult a tax adviser for your specific obligations.

Food Safety Regulations

TableSnap is a restaurant menu management platform, not a food service provider. Your restaurant retains all responsibility for food safety:

• TableSnap is a SaaS tool for menu display and ordering, not a food handling system.
• TableSnap does not deliver food, prepare food, or handle food directly.
• Local food safety laws, health codes, and dietary restrictions are the restaurant owner's responsibility to ensure.
